Custom built Sea Surge aluminium pontoon boats, designed and built by Rimu Engineering.

Designed to withstand the constant wave pounding experienced by commercial users, the Sea Surge’s D-shaped aluminium pontoon boats taper towards the front to cut smoothly through big waves and choppy water. Ideal for paua divers and fishermen, each custom-built boat has a deep 20-degree V with chines to deflect water, making it very dry riding.

Each boat is designed to the customer’s requirements, welded by marine-certified welders and test driven. Ranging in size from 2.4 to 8 metres, Sea Surge aluminium boats can feature a sports or hard top canopy, sports cab or cabin.

We can also re-fit, and our work includes installing new hard tops on your boat.
